KOTA KINABALU: British actor and filmmaker Emrhys Cooper traded the film set for Sabah’s rugged landscapes to participate in the Borneo Ultra Trail Marathon (BUTM), calling it "one of the best ultra marathons" he has experienced.

Held from Feb 22 to 23, the annual endurance race pushes runners to their limits, navigating dirt tracks, backroads, and steep trails through the stunning Kiulu Valley, about 45km from Kota Kinabalu.
