Dr Wan Azizah offers condolences to father who lost wife, children in fire


MELAKA: The heartbreaking tragedy faced by Muhammad Khairuddin Sa'ari, who lost his wife and four children in a fire on Thursday (Feb 13) has drawn the attention of the Prime Minister's wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

According to a social media post by Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Adam Adli, Dr Wan Azizah personally contacted Khairuddin, 35, via a phone call during the Ziarah Kasih Madani programme on Friday (Feb 14).

During the call, Dr Wan Azizah conveyed her condolences and words of encouragement to Khairuddin in enduring this devastating loss.

" Stay strong...We are temporary in this world.. Allah will not test us beyond our strength... You must be strong," Dr Wan Azizah said during the conversation

The phone call was part of Adam Adli's Ziarah Kasih Madani programme.

The visit aimed to express sympathy and provide moral support to Khairuddin in facing this difficult time.

The tragic fire, which occurred on Feb 13, claimed the lives of five family members in their home at Kampung Berangan Enam, Umbai, Jasin.

The victims were identified as Laila Fathinah Mustapa, 37, who was five months pregnant, and her four children-Nur Damia Batrisyia Abdullah, 13, Izz Daffa Hafizuddin, seven, Nur Dalilah Khadijah, six, and Izz Danish Fathi, four. - Bernama
