Penang International Airport records 51.43% higher tourist arrivals from India in 2024


GEORGE TOWN: Penang International Airport recorded 51.43% higher year-on-year tourist arrivals from India in 2024, reflecting the state government's successful tourism strategies in this market.

In a statement, State tourism and creative economy committee chairman Wong Hon Wai said the state recorded 11,127 Indian tourist arrivals in 2024 from 7,348 in 2023.
