MCMC took down 8,765 cyberbullying-related content last year, five times more than 2023


BERA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) took down 8,756 cyberbullying-related content in 2024.

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said the figure marks a significant increase compared to the previous year, which saw the removal of 1,763 such content.
