Negri MB, exco have no unilateral power to remove state Ruler, says AGC


PETALING JAYA: The Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar and the state executive council have no unilateral power to depose or vacate the office of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, says the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC).

The AGC added that the April 19 proclamation removing Tuanku Muhriz under Article 10 of the state laws Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir was not legitimate..
