SEPANG: Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 14-year-old girl, Noor Amni Nazaranee, who went missing after leaving her home in Taman Bukit Puchong, Putra Perdana, on Thursday (Jan 9).

Sepang deputy OCPD Supt Shan Gopal Krishnan said Noor Amni left her house at 5pm to visit a friend in Lavender Terrace, Puchong Prima, using e-hailing services and was later reported to have gone jogging in Putrajaya with a friend.

He said her last known location was Jalan Renang 13/26 in Shah Alam, Selangor, at 8.50pm Thursday, and a report was filed at Sepang District Police Headquarters at 1.40am Friday (Jan 10).

Noor Amni was last seen wearing dark clothing, a brown hijab, and carrying a mobile phone. There were no reported issues with her family.

The incident is classified as a missing person case, and police have intensified efforts to locate her, he added.

He appealed to anyone with information to contact investigating officer Sjn Rasimah Ab Rasid at 012-325 2521 or the Sepang District Police Headquarters at 03-8777 4222. - Bernama
