Motorcyclist killed in four-vehicle crash at Felda Penggeli


KOTA TINGGI: A motorcyclist died at the scene following a four-vehicle accident at Felda Penggeli.

Bandar Tenggara Fire and Rescue Department station chief Bakhtiar Selamat said the collision at 7.47am on Friday (Jan 3) involved two Perodua Alza cars, a Proton Saga, and a Yamaha NVX motorcycle.

A rescue team of 12 firefighters, led by senior officer II Ibrahim Ishak, arrived at the scene around 8.08am, about 20km from the fire station.

“The victim, identified as Muhammad Fareedzul Anuar, 24, was found trapped beneath the Proton Saga," Bakhtiar said.

Firefighters used specialised equipment to recover the victim’s body, which was subsequently handed over to the police for further action.

The drivers of the other vehicles escaped uninjured. The operation concluded at 9.30am.
