KOTA BARU: A total of 113 villages in four districts in Kelantan have been warned of possible floods following a forecast of continuous rain from Wednesday to Saturday (Dec 18 to 21) by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

The Irrigation and Drainage Department (DID) said in a statement that the affected villages are in low-lying areas within 5km of Sungai Kelantan, including 15 villages in Machang district, 54 in Pasir Mas, 16 in Tumpat and 28 in Kota Baru district.
