No fee increase for Kemas nurseries and kindergartens in 2025

PETALING JAYA: No nursery or kindergarten under the Community Development Department (Kemas) will see a fee increase next year.

In a statement on their official Facebook page, the department addressed concerns following a news article that speculated a 25% increase.

The department clarified that the article created an impression of an upcoming fee hike, causing worry among the public.

"The Community Development Department would like to clarify that no increase in fees will be imposed for the school session next year. The Madani government, through the department, will always be concerned with the burdens of the people and will work diligently to ease those burdens," it said.
