PRE-SALE tickets for the “Here I Am: Rossa Live in KL” concert by renowned Indonesian singer Datuk Seri Rossa (pic) were snapped up in three hours, Berita Harian reported.

Known for her unique vocals and emotional ballads, Rossa is set to sing her greatest hits such as Nada Nada Cinta, Pudar and Hey Ladies during the mega concert scheduled for June 14 next year.

The 46-year-old songstress, whose real name is Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, expressed her joy at performing in Malaysia again.

“I am so excited to return to Kuala Lumpur and sing songs that are deeply meaningful to me.

“The support of my Malaysian fans always gives me strength and I can’t wait to share this special occasion with them after 25 years (in the music industry),” she said.

> After denying hearsay that she was married to actor Zul Ariffin, actress Ruhainies is once again embroiled in gossip – this time with actor Azrel Ismail, Kosmo! reported.

However, the 32-year-old brushed off such talk as the “joke of the day”.

She also posted a screenshot of a chat between herself and Azrel joking about the gossip, with Azrel sharing a Facebook link titled “Ruhainies and Azrel Ismail admitted to being in love since a year ago”.

“I urge the public to not be easily fooled by such slander. It is nothing more than clickbait,” she said.

Recently, Ruhainies was said to have wed Zul Ariffin.

Earlier this year, Ruhainies was also accused by singer-actress Bella Astillah, 30, of breaking up her marriage to actor-singer Aliff Aziz, 33.

It came after Ruhainies and Aliff were arrested at a condominium in Kuala Lumpur in March for alleged khalwat.

Both later pleaded not guilty to the charge at the Syariah High Court. The case has been postponed to February next year.

> Actress Sherie Merlis is happy with her life now after two failed marriages, Harian Metro reported.

She said her life is currently stable as she focuses on her children and career.

“They (the children) are not with me all the time but I always spend time with them during school holidays.

“I am glad that my ex-husband (Tengku Shafiz Rullah As Syafiee, also known as Ash) has no problem with that,” she said.

Sherie has four children – two adult sons with her first husband, Esma Daniel; and a 12-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy with Ash.

“I am not thinking of grandchildren yet. For now, I just want to live happily,” said the 52-year-old.
