A BUS driver in India who suffered a heart attack while on the job used his final moments to save the lives of 25 passengers, Malaysia Nanban reported.
The 59-year-old man, known as Vengadasamy, was a driver for the Tamil Nadu state-run public bus company.
He reportedly suffered a massive heart attack while en route from Vellore to Salem but managed to pull the bus over safely before collapsing.
Passengers who realised what had happened helped rush him to a hospital but it was too late.
The passengers were saddened and touched by Vengadasamy’s sacrifice.
