Claims of large-scale graft have affected public trust, says Warisan rep

KOTA KINABALU: Malaysians deserve to know the truth behind a recent audio recording reportedly involving large-scale corruption and elected representatives, says a Parti Warisan assemblyman.

Merotai representative Sarifuddin Hata (pic) urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to conduct a swift and transparent probe of the allegations.

He said the allegations had raised serious questions about the integrity of national institutions and also affected public trust.
