Sabah launches National Month campaign


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor (pic) launches the state-level National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang Campaign at Menara Kinabalu.

Deputy Chief Minister II Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun delivered the speech on behalf of Hajiji at the event on Saturday (Aug 1).

Hajiji said the state targets development across education, welfare, housing, healthcare, rural development, youth and women empowerment, and basic amenities.

“This is so that its benefits can be enjoyed by all Sabahans," he said

Hajiji called on the public to use technology responsibly to disseminate verified information and foster unity. He also urged residents to fly the national flag across Sabah throughout the campaign.

"Let this year's celebration serve as a renewed commitment to building a more advanced and prosperous Sabah," Hajiji said.
