PETALING JAYA: A lucky winner from Perak has won the RM17mil Power Toto 6/55 Jackpot on Aug 18, 2024, by betting on his family members’ ages.
The 61-year-old winner, who works as a plantation estate worker, said that he has been betting on the same set of numbers for many years without fail.
"These numbers were actually the ages of my family members, some meaningful events had taken place during that time, and I purposely selected their ages and started betting on these numbers," he shared.
He said he was shocked to see the results in the newspaper on Monday and immediately called his wife and children to share the great news.
The winner said he has not planned how to spend the winnings as he is still in disbelief that he is now a multi-millionaire.
