PETALING JAYA: The people of Nenggiri will soon have access to ATM facilities, says the Finance Ministry.
The ministry stated it had completed discussions with several local banks and received positive feedback regarding the setup of ATM machines in Nenggiri.
"This is in response to reports that the residents of Nenggiri are having difficulties accessing ATM machines as they had to travel about 50km to Gua Musang for such facilities," the Finance Ministry said in a statement on Saturday (Aug 10).
"The services will be activated and expedited to fulfil the needs of the people and will later be expanded to ensure everyone has access to such facilities.
"Those who have difficulties accessing any existing ATM facilities in their area can contact the Finance Ministry at ukk@treasury.gov.my or at 03-8000 8000," added the ministry.
