Food court in KL catches fire


AMPANG: A food court in Taman Lembah Keramat here was razed in an early morning fire.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said 18 personnel from the Ampang, Pandan and Wangsa Maju fire stations were deployed to the scene after a distress call was received at 5.49am on Saturday (July 27).

"The food court consisting of eight stalls was on fire.

"Some 80% of the building was destroyed," he said in a statement today.

No one was hurt during the incident, he added.
