KANGAR: The son of the Perlis Menteri Besar, Mohd Shukri Ramli, arrived at the Kangar Sessions Court on Thursday (May 23) to face charges of making a false claim involving RM600,000.
The suspect, who wore a purple colour shirt, arrived at the court at about 8am.
In April, the Mentri Besar’s son was among six men remanded by the MACC to assist in the investigation into a case of producing falsified documents to make RM600,000 in claims since 2022.

Two civil servants in the Mentri Besar’s Office, State Secretary’s Office and three company contractors were also detained.
All the suspects, aged between 26 and 37, were detained by the MACC on April 23.
They were released by MACC after three days' remand order ended.
