MACC detains Perlis MB Mohd Shukri


PUTRAJAYA: Perlis Mentri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli has been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

This was confirmed by MACC top gun Tan Sri Azam Baki.

He said the MACC is investigating allegations against Mohd Shukri's son.

"My officers also want him to answer several allegations against him," the MACC chief said when contacted on Tuesday (April 30).

Azam also said investigators will determine if Shukri will be detained further after his statement.
