Man dies after falling into tank of cement mixing machine at Shah Alam factory


SHAH ALAM: A freak accident killed a man after he fell into the tank of a cement mixing machine.

When contacted, Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said that the incident occurred at a factory in Seksyen 35 here on Wednesday (April 17).

“Police received a call today at 11.43am regarding the discovery of a body found floating inside the factory’s cement mixing machine,” he said.

“It is believed that the victim fell inside the tank, and had hit the mixing blades inside the machine.

"His identity was confirmed by his next-of-kin from a tattoo on the victim's left arm,” he said.

The case has been classified as a Sudden Death Report.
