Soldier injured after truck collides with lorry at Bukit Beruntung toll plaza


PETALING JAYA: A soldier was injured after a military truck he was driving collided with a lorry at the Bukit Berunting toll plaza on Monday (April 15).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, when contacted, said that the department was notified of the road accident at 9.41am and sent out a team from the Bukit Sentosa fire station.

However, by the time firefighters arrived, the lorry was no longer at the scene.

"The victim, a man in his twenties who is a member of the Armed Forces, was pinned inside the vehicle and successfully removed within five minutes and rushed to the hospital for further treatment," he said.
