In a video uploaded on his Facebook page, he called on the people to strengthen friendships, unity and always take care of their health this festive season.

"From the minister's office to your family, we humbly and joyfully wish everyone a happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri," he said.

“For those returning to their respective hometowns, I hope everyone will be careful on the road."

The Teluk Intan MP also showcased Raya decorations which adorned his office.

"Unity in diversity is our way of life, whether it’d be Christmas, Chinese New Year, or Deepavali, let us celebrate together with an open heart, unity in diversity - stronger together," he said in the video uploaded on Tuesday (April 9).
