Sabah to prosecute offenders for pollution

Sabah Environment Protection Department enforcers fixing the ‘no open burning’ banner at several locations in Kota Kinabalu.

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 83 citations have been issued by the Sabah Environment Department for failure to comply with environmental laws.

In addition, the department is preparing four investigation papers for prosecution and also issued 41 instruction notices, four compound notices and one equipment operation detention order.
