Significant rise in provocative social media content detected says MCMC


PUTRAJAYA: Some 35,490 provocative posts were taken down from social media in 2023, while 27,115 pieces of content were removed in the first two months of this year, says MCMC.

In a statement Friday (March 29), it said that there has been a significant increase in harmful content on social media as well as over-the-top (OTT) platforms.
