Blogger 'Steadyaku47' Hussein Abdul Hamid passes away

KUALA LUMPUR: Blogger ‘Steadyaku47’ Hussein Abdul Hamid, has passed away from stroke complications at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) here at 5.50am on Thursday (Feb 15). He was 77.

The passing of the blogger was confirmed by a family member, Datuk Hamidah Mohd Yusoff.

She said Hussein’s remains would be taken to Masjid Solehin Pulapol here for the funeral prayers before being laid to rest at Raudhatul Sakinah Phase 2 Muslim cemetery in Gombak after Zohor prayers.

Hamidah said Hussein was warded at HKL’s Tunku Abdul Rahman Neurology Institute since last Thursday following a haemorrhagic stroke after falling unconscious at a shopping mall in the city.

He leaves behind a son and a daughter.

Hussein was Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s schoolmate at the Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Perak. - Bernama
