Bukit Aman announces new posts for four senior officers


KUALA LUMPUR: The police have announced the transfers of four senior officers at Bukit Aman and state contingents.

Bukit Aman corporate communications chief Asst Comm Julina Salehuddin said Perak police chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin has been appointed as Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) director.

Other transfers involve Penang deputy police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin, who has been appointed as the new Perak police chief, while police secretary Datuk Abdul Rahman Kassim has been appointed as Penang deputy police chief.

"Pahang JPJKK chief Datuk Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali has meanwhile been appointed as police secretary with the acting rank of Deputy Commissioner," she said in a statement on Tuesday (May 12).

Julina said all transfers will take effect on June 15. – Bernama
