Child and woman killed in five-vehicle crash near Dengkil


PETALING JAYA: A ten-year-old child and a woman in her 40s were killed in a five-vehicle collision along Jalan Banting in Dengkil on Monday (Jan 22).

When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said that both died at the scene, adding that a woman in her 20s suffered injuries to her leg and has since been sent to the hospital.

He added that four vehicles were hit by a lorry, leading to a car being crushed.

Ahmad Mukhlis added that all the victims came from the car and are from the same family.
