Skeletal remains of man found near Putra Heights LRT station


SUBANG JAYA: Workers have discovered the skeletal remains of a man near a LRT station here.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said that the workers were performing maintenance at the Putra Heights LRT electrical substation on Thursday (Nov 9) when they made the gruesome find.

The remains were found in some shrubbery below the Jalan Persiaran Putra Harmoni bridge.

"Investigations show the time of death was three to six weeks from when the body was found.

"The remains have been sent to the Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem. As of now, the case has been designated as sudden death," he said.

The deceased has been identified as an Indonesian, Riki Mandaguna, 40, from identification documents found in a bag with the remains.

No missing persons report has been filed over the deceased.
