PUTRAJAYA: The road tax for electric vehicles (EVs) will be lower with a new tax structure for such vehicles to be announced soon, says Anthony Loke.
The Transport Minister said the government wants to ensure EV users would not be burdened by high taxes, adding that the new structure would only take effect after the EV road tax exemption period ends in 2025.
