Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam

KUALA LUMPUR: The Sessions Court here has discharged and acquitted Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam (pic) on the charge of spreading false news through audio-visual recordings about the Covid-19 virus two years ago.

Judge N. Priscilla Hemamalini made the decision on Tuesday (Nov 7) after finding that the prosecution had failed to prove a prima facie case against Lokman Noor, 50, at the end of the prosecution's case.
