Japan should continue taking suggestions on Fukushima plant water, says Anwar

PUTRAJAYA: Japan should continue to take suggestions regarding the treated water from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant being discharged into the sea, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said that while Malaysia is satisfied with a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency on the matter, he hoped that the views of countries in the region be taken into account due to the transboundary effects of the action.
