Cooking oil price system being upgraded, to be ready by mid-2024

KUALA LUMPUR: The Cooking Oil Price Stabilization Scheme (eCOSS) is currently being upgraded by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry and is expected to be fully completed by the middle of 2024.

Deputy Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Fuziah Salleh said that among the improvements implemented is to enable the system to control subsidised cooking oil at retail level so that sales are only allowed to target groups through identification documents.
