KUALA LUMPUR: PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan should "look into the mirror first" before making light of threats directed at the Prime Minister.
This was the advice given by the unity government spokesman after Takiyuddin labeled Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim an "alarmist" over the threats he had received recently.

"PAS as a party is also quite alarmist. We've seen over the many months, particularly leading up to the state elections, how PAS said that voting for certain parties would lead to all hell breaking loose throughout the country,” said Fahmi.
"That hasn't happened. So I think he should put a mirror up close to his face and have a good long look at himself and his party before he talks about anybody else," added the Communications and Digital Minister at a press conference after launching DNB's "My5G Portal" on Thursday (Oct 26).

Fahmi was asked to respond to claims by Takiyuddin that Anwar's statement that he was “threatened” over his criticism against the government of Israel was “strange and amusing”.
Takiyuddin said that the response by Anwar was an "alarmist" statement and that he should not use it to show his "greatness" as a leader.
