A WIFE killed her cheating spouse by getting a venomous snake to bite him while he was asleep, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Identified only as Lalitha, she had confronted her 42-year-old husband Pravin about his two-timing ways.

Pravin, who was a real estate agent, had begun an affair during his frequent travels.

The couple’s home is in India’s Andhra Pradesh state.

Despite being told off by Lalitha, Pravin apparently refused to end the affair.

The pair, who have three children, began to have frequent fights. Pravin also began drinking heavily, frustrating Lalitha even more.

She decided to kill Pravin and recruited two of his colleagues to abet her with promises of helping them obtain some land titles.

Last Tuesday, Pravin once again drank heavily and passed out.

Lalitha seized the chance and contacted her two collaborators who brought over a snake and made it bite the sleeping husband. He died on the spot.

Lalitha later admitted to the crime during the police investigation. All three people involved in the act have been arrested.
