'Kembara Kenali Borneo' to tour four districts in Sabah on Sept 5


SANDAKAN: The Kembara Kenali Borneo tour is scheduled to continue its journey on Tuesday (Sept 5) through four districts, namely Sandakan, Beluran, Telupid and Ranau.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, along with the convoy participants, are expected to depart from Sandakan to the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre in Sepilok.

Among the other stops for the convoy are the Sabah Forestry Institute in Telupid and Tagal Sungai Moroli in the Ranau district before attending a dinner with the community at Pentas Budaya, Kundasang.

The Kembara Kenali Borneo tour, which runs from Sept 3 to 13, started in Tawau, Sabah, and will conclude in Telok Melano, Sarawak, covering a distance of 2,154km along the Pan Borneo Highway connecting Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei. - Bernama
