HRD Corp said the anti-graft agency officially marked the monitoring process as completed in a letter dated Monday (Oct 26), after the corporation implemented all governance improvement recommendations agreed upon with MACC.
HRD Corp chairman Datuk Rusli Jaafar said the achievement reflected the collective efforts of the organisation's leadership and staff, as well as the support and cooperation of MACC throughout the process.
"This achievement is a testament to the dedication, professionalism and hard work of the entire team at HRD Corp.
"Since Datuk Shamir (Abdul Aziz) came on board (as chief executive), HRD Corp has continued to build on a strong foundation with a clear focus on the work ahead," he said in a statement on Tuesday (Oct 27).
Rusli also acknowledged the support of Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan and expressed confidence in HRD Corp's direction under Shamir.
He said it remained committed to upholding integrity, accountability and good governance in carrying out its responsibilities.
"With strong leadership and a committed team in place, HRD Corp will maintain the highest levels of integrity, accountability and good governance as we drive Malaysia’s human capital development forward," he said.
