Body of elderly man found dumped in Petaling Jaya


PETALING JAYA: An elderly man has been found dead near a condominium in the PJS10 area here.

The man's body was found wrapped in a curtain at around 2am on Saturday (Aug 26) by the side of the road not far from the man's house.

The victim was found to have sustained injuries to his head and a broken left hand, and there were also bruises on his chest.

There were also blood stains found on the victim's house wall and bedroom door as well as drag marks on the living room floor.

Blood stains were also found in a car which was believed to have been used to transport the victim's body.

It is learnt that the main suspect involved is the victim's son.

When contacted Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said a press conference would be held on Tuesday (Aug 29) to address the case.
