Two footie aces out to score in state seats

Meeting the people: Muhammad Radhi (left second row) and Baddrol with voters during their campaign trails in Alor Setar.

ALOR SETAR: Two ex-footballers are ready to trade their jerseys and boots for the suits and ties that are required of lawmakers in the Kedah state assembly.

Former Kedah football team captain Baddrol Bakhtiar will be out to prove that he is equally adept at dabbling in politics as he is at dribbling the ball.
