Food court at Machap rest stop on North-South Expressway closed for refurbishment

KUALA LUMPUR: The food court at the Machap rest area of the North-South Expressway has been temporarily closed, says Plus Malaysia.

The closure is to facilitate the refurbishment works in order to provide better services to the travellers.

Plus, in a statement on Wednesday (July 26), said the food court of Machap rest and service area (Southbound), located at KM74.7 of the highway, would be closed from July 26 to Aug 3.

"However, other facilities such as the toilets, surau, parking area and petrol stations are still operating as usual," it added.

It suggested motorists, who are heading to the south, to use the services of other rest areas along the expressway.

Plus also advised travellers to plan their journey or obtain traffic information via its application.

Highway users can also contact the Plusline at 1800-88-0000 in the case of any emergencies.
