KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is activating a contraflow lane in stages along the North-South Expressway between the Bukit Gambir and Tangkak interchanges in Johor from Aug 3 to facilitate bridge beam launching works in the area.
In a statement on Friday (July 31), PLUS said the first phase will involve the northbound carriageway between KM165.9 and KM167.9 from Aug 3 to Aug 6.
The second phase will take place on the southbound carriageway between KM167.9 and KM165.9 from Aug 10 to Aug 13.
The contraflow operation for both phases will be carried out daily from 10pm to 5.30am.
PLUS advised motorists to plan their journeys, exercise caution when travelling through the affected stretch, and comply with all traffic signs as well as instructions issued by PLUS personnel throughout the duration of the works. – Bernama
