Early morning house fire kills man in Serdang


SERDANG: An early morning blaze at a house here has killed one man.

When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain said that the department has received word of a house fire in Kampung Seri Puchong at 2.30am.

"The fire was successfully extinguished at 3.11am and the body of a 37-year-old man was found burnt," he said.

The house was also almost completely burnt with around 90% of it damaged from the fire.
