Wan Junaidi to prioritise implementation of code of ethics for MPs

KUALA LUMPUR: The new Dewan Negara president Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (pic) will prioritise the implementation of the code of ethics for Members of Parliament (MPs) to improve the legislative branch of the country’s administration.

He said that he had previously introduced the code of ethics for MPs as he was of the view that an MP’s job and responsibility was not to fight in the August House and be involved in excessive politicking, instead, they should bear great responsibility.
