Fed up with floods again and again

SEGAMAT: It’s just three months into 2023 but a housewife here needed to throw away almost all her furniture and electrical goods after her house was flooded twice.

“We are tired of having to go through it over and over again. It’s a heartache, seeing everything we owned washed away or destroyed,” said Wong Lay Yok, 59.
