Seremban cops looking for motorists in road bullying video

SEREMBAN: Police here are probing a road bullying incident involving two motorists here after a 16-second clip went viral.

Seremban police chief Asst Comm Nanda Ma'arof said that the investigation found that the incident occurred at 2pm on Dec 30 along the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway.

"Our probe showed that a 32-year-old man driving a four-wheel drive had stopped along the fast lane of the highway, blocking the 52-year-old driver of a luxury car heading in the same direction, towards Port Dickson.

"The two were in an argument earlier when they stopped at the Mambau rest and service area after some items fell off the pickup and almost hit the other car on the highway," he said in a statement on Thursday (March 9).

ACP Nanda said the two motorists then drove off but the driver of the pickup then overtook the other car and blocked it near the Sua Betong traffic light junction.

He said the man apparently did so because he wanted to take a photograph of the other driver.

"The other man had also taken his photograph when they were arguing at the R&R," he said.

ACP Nanda said both men will be called in for questioning.

The case is being probed under Rule 92A of the Road Traffic Rules 1959, he added.
