Malaysia wants to strengthen ties with China, says Zambry


KUALA LUMPUR: The relations between Malaysia and China have grown from strength to strength underpinned by the strong government-to-government commitment and active private sector engagements, says Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.

The Foreign Minister said Kuala Lumpur-Beijing established diplomatic relations on May 31, 1974 and agreed to elevate the ties to Strategic Cooperation in 2004 and later to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) in 2013.
