He said the event would be held at the SPICE Convention & Exhibition Centre on Jan 23 from 2pm to 4.30pm.

"The open house is back now, to be celebrated by all - especially Penangites," said the Chief Minister in a statement on Sunday (Jan 15).

Chow said the public was invited to come together to maintain harmony in the state.

Other than local and foreign leaders, Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak and his wife were also invited to grace the event.

Chow hoped that the Chinese New Year celebration this year will be blessed with happiness and prosperity to all, especially Penangites.

"See you there and I wish you all Happy Chinese New Year 2023. Gong Xi Fa Cai," he said.
