“Congratulations Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh for making Malaysia proud by being the country’s first-ever Golden Globe winner!” he said in a Facebook post.

Facebook user Patricia Dean, in a comment on The Star’s page, described Yeoh as “an epitome of grace who has worked so hard to get to where she is today. So happy and proud for you, Michelle”.

“And we are so proud of her. At the age of 60, she embodies hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Tahniah!” user Farhan Awis replied to the report.
