RAC opens three regional offices

PUTRAJAYA: The Railway Asset Corporation (RAC) has announced that three regional affairs offices will open today.

These offices are in Bukit Mertajam, Penang (the northern zone), Sebang Island, Melaka (the southern zone), and Gua Musang, Kelantan (the east coast zone).

In a statement, RAC said each office would be headed by a regional manager and assisted by several officers and staff members.

The move, it said, was to serve stakeholders and customers better.

“The opening of these three regional affairs offices aims at improving the level of service to stakeholders and customers, particularly concerning railway asset management involving commercial activities, railway land administration, and facility maintenance.
