Cops looking into KK gang fight after footage goes viral


KOTA KINABALU: Cops are investigating a gang fight which occurred in the city here, footage of which has gone viral.

The 91-second video, which appears to have been taken near the KKIP industrial area, went viral on Sunday (Dec 4).

In the video, a group of men can be seen in a free-for-all while others try to stop the brawl.

A man then reaches into a car and emerges with a machete in one hand and a chain in the other.

The men can be heard shouting at each other and speaking in Mandarin and Malay.

According to police sources, they have not received a report on the incident but they were looking into it.
