Kelantan civil servants to get RM1,500 in special aid, says Deputy MB


KOTA BARU: The Kelantan government has announced a special assistance of RM1,500 for each civil servant in the state, announces Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.

The payment will be disbursed in January next year, the Deputy Mentri Besar added.

"The government has agreed to give the special financial assistance, which involves an allocation of RM13mil. This is the most assistance ever given by the state government following a budget surplus recorded for five consecutive years.

"This is also to appreciate the commitment and determination of government employees who have worked hard to ensure that our finances are in good shape,” he said at the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly sitting in Kota Darulnaim here Wednesday (Nov 30). - Bernama
