GE15: Claim of lack of service in Alor Gajah meant to smear reputation, says Mohd Redzuan

ALOR GAJAH: Alor Gajah incumbent Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusoff has said that an allegation that he has not served his Alor Gajah constitutents since 2018 is meant to smear his reputation.

He said that the claim in the social media post is false.

"I have a record of the assistance and services rendered in my constituency since 2018," he said after the launching of Perikatan Nasional's Alor Gajah manifesto for the 15th General Election (GE15) in Durian Tunggal on Friday (Nov 11) night.

Mohd Redzuan, who is also the Minister in the Prime Minister's department (Special Tasks), said he is unfazed by the post and will continue to woo his voters.

"My team at the Alor Gajah service centre has served the constituents accordingly and extensively. I have to defend myself from this baseless allegation, " he said.

Meanwhile, his manifesto includes a free school bus service for the needy, lighting up smaller towns such as Asahan and a special scholarship package for deserving students.

Mohd Redzuan will face Melaka Pakatan Harapan chief Adly Zahari, Barisan Nasional's Shahril Hamdan and Muhammad Nazriq Abdul Rahman of Gerakan Tanah Air in the 15th General Election.
